Warning for clients who use ACT! by Sage Software
Monday December 21, 2009
Recently some of our clients that use ACT! by Sage software
were forced to pay ACT to download software that they had already purchased.
If you own ACT! software (or any product made by Sage software), be
sure to save your installation CDs and/or installation files that you may have downloaded from the ACT.com web site. If you do not save your installation
media, ACT will charge you for downloading software, even if you have paid hundreds of dollars for that software in the past.
We know of no other
software company that has this policy, so we felt it necessary to warn our clients about this technique.
